Through computational fluid dynamics (CFD), we make visible and quantifiable phenomena that the eye cannot see : airflows, heat transfer, pollutant dispersion, thermal stratification. Our models turn complex problems into clear maps and concrete decisions, from data center to industry, from commercial buildings to critical infrastructure. Originally founded in France, EOLIOS Engineering is today a benchmark consultancy in thermal and airflow simulation, in Europe and worldwide. Present in Paris, London, Milan, Munich, Madrid, Warsaw, Casablanca and the United States, we support manufacturers, operators, architects and project owners on their most demanding projects.

Our computing resources

High-performance computing power, on-premise and in the cloud.

The fidelity of a CFD study comes down to the fineness of the mesh and the number of scenarios computed. To never compromise on accuracy, EOLIOS relies on a hybrid computing infrastructure : dedicated in-house servers, complemented by near-unlimited power in the cloud.

On-premise

Dedicated compute cluster

Our in-house compute servers (HPC), made up of several hundred cores and a large memory capacity, run our parallelised solvers (MPI) every day. Our clients' sensitive data stays controlled end to end, in a confidential and secure environment.

In the cloud

Elastic computing power

For the heaviest models and activity peaks, we mobilise thousands of cores in the cloud on demand (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). This elasticity removes queues, lets us run many scenarios in parallel and meet deadlines, without over-sizing our hardware.

Massive meshes

Hundreds of millions of cells to capture geometry and turbulence in fine detail.

Transient & LES computations

High-fidelity modelling of turbulence and unsteady regimes over long durations.

Born in France, turned towards the world.

EOLIOS Engineering was born from a conviction : numerical simulation can make visible — and controllable — the most complex thermal and airflow phenomena. Since our beginnings in France, we have made computational fluid dynamics (CFD) a decision-making tool serving critical infrastructure.

Across projects — from the data center to industry, from HVAC engineering to fire safety —, our know-how has deepened and our team has grown with doctor-engineers per discipline. EOLIOS now has 9 offices in Europe and worldwide, and supports operators, designers and project owners at every stage of their projects.
